How to Shave Your Back

Back hair is a common issue for many people. Luckily, shaving your back is very easy, especially if you have some one to help you. Follow the steps below for a clean-shaven back.

Method 1 of 3: Preparation

   Find some one to help you shave. A friend or partner can help you shave your back. This makes the process a lot easier than doing it all by yourself.

   Trim the hair on your back.
   • If you have electric clippers, this step is as simple as having your friend plug in the clippers and trim down the hair on your back.
   • If you don't have clippers handy, have your friend use a comb and scissors to trim down your hair. This will make shaving your back quicker and easier. ^[1]

   Rinse off. Hop into the shower and rinse the trimmed hair off of your back. Once you've rinsed off any loose hairs, you will be ready to start shaving.

Method 2 of 3: Shaving Your Back

   Have your friend rub shaving cream onto your back. Make sure that they cover the entire area that you want shaved.

   Slowly shave the back. Be sure that your friend is not applying too much or too little pressure while shaving your back. Have him or her rinse the razor after each stroke for more effective shaving.
   • Your friend should be shaving in the opposite direction of your hair growth for the smoothest shave.
   • Don't go over the same spot too many times, as it may cause a rash or cut.

Method 3 of 3: Aftercare

   Rinse off excess shaving cream. After the shaving cream has been rinsed off, check if your friend has missed any spots. Reapply shaving cream and shave off any spots that might have been missed.
