It is safe but like the previous poster said some doctors would rather you not just because any razor bumps or tiny cuts could become infected during delivery. However being pregnant doesn't increase your risk of them getting infected, you have the same risks anytime you shave any part of your body. I am still shaving and trimming but only because I am not a big fan of hair, not because I care about what my doctor sees. It is just more comfortable for me. If you are worried about getting infected razor bumps of anything then I would just stick to trimming it really low but it's not going to harm the baby either way.
